A Broken Shell

95% calcium carbonate,3.5% silicate and a trace of other elements like aspartic acid,glycine,calcium phosphate,zinc,manganese,aluminum. A small piece of broken shell that grabbed my notice at Ankola beach...But my question was where is the animal that once inhabited it, Did that go on a vacation...?
